In this Legal Disclaimer:
“TrackTag” refers to the compact tracking device sold by 256 BITS.
“256 BITS”, “we”, “us” or “our” refers to the business 256 BITS:

“256 BITS”, “we”, “us” or “our” also refers to the seller of TrackTag, including “Kon Makrypodis”.
“You”, “user” or “your” means the purchaser, user or any person otherwise using TrackTag, its software, or related services.
By purchasing, using, or accessing TrackTag and any related software or services, you agree to the following terms and limitations.
1. Proper Use and Misuse
TrackTag is not designed, marketed, or intended for tracking people, animals, or property without the owner’s knowledge and consent. Misuse of TrackTag, including but not limited to stalking, harassment, surveillance, or any unlawful or unethical activity, is strictly prohibited.
You are solely responsible for complying with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws related to tracking devices, privacy, and data use. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrackTag and its manufacturers, distributors, and affiliates assume no liability for any misuse or illegal use of the product.
2. No Guarantee of Performance
TrackTag relies on wireless technologies, third-party networks, device compatibility, and environmental factors that are outside of our control. As a result, continuous, accurate, or uninterrupted tracking is not guaranteed.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TrackTag is provided “as is” and “as available”, including but not limited to accuracy, reliability, or availability. We do not guarantee that TrackTag will always locate lost items or function without errors, delays, or interruptions.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
3. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, 256 BITS and its distributors and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or any other damages arising from or related to the use, ability or inability to use the product, including but not limited to loss of property, data, profits, or personal injury.
Use of TrackTag is entirely at your own risk.
4. Battery and Button Cell Warning
TrackTag contains a coin/button cell battery, which can be hazardous if swallowed.
KEEP TRACKTAG AND ITS BATTERY OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Keep TrackTag and its battery out of reach of children, pets or anyone or anything else at risk.
Swallowing a button cell battery can cause severe internal burns or death.
If a battery is swallowed or suspected to have been swallowed, seek immediate medical attention.
Do not attempt to eat, consume, ingest, burn, open, crush, puncture, or modify the battery.
Replace batteries only as instructed and dispose of used batteries in accordance with local regulations.
TrackTag and its manufacturers, distributors, and affiliates are not liable for any injuries or damages resulting from improper handling, misuse, or modification to the battery or device.
In the case of any ingestion of TrackTag or its battery, contact the Poisons Information Centre by telephone at “13 11 26” or call “000”
You also agree to abide by the following warning:
WARNING: This product contains a CR2032 lithium coin/button battery. Coin/button batteries are hazardous and can cause severe or fatal injuries if swallowed or inserted into any part of the body. Keep this product, as well as new and used batteries out of reach of children at all times. If you suspect a battery has been swallowed or inserted into the body, seek immediate medical attention, call 000 or contact the Poisons Information Centre (Australia) on via telephone 13 11 26. Chemical burns can happen in less than 2 hours. The battery compartment is secured and requires a coin to open. Do not tamper with or modify the product. Dispose of used batteries safely and responsibly in accordance with local regulations. This product is not a toy and is not intended for use by children. An adult must handle or replace the battery. Only adults should use this product. This product should not be used by children.

This disclaimer may be updated periodically, and continued use of TrackTag constitutes acceptance of any changes.
