At 256 BITS, we are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. Our returns policy complies with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and outlines your rights regarding refunds, replacements, and repairs.

1. Consumer Guarantees

Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product:

  • Is faulty, unsafe, or has a major defect.

  • Does not match the description or sample provided.

  • Fails to meet reasonable expectations of quality.

  • A major failure occurs when:

  • The product has a significant problem that would have stopped someone from purchasing it had they known.

  • The product is substantially different from its description.

  • The product does not do what we said it would, or what you asked for and cannot be easily fixed.

2. Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. However, we may, at our discretion, offer store credit or an exchange depending on the circumstances.

3. Returning a Faulty Product

If you believe your product has a defect or does not meet ACL guarantees, please follow these steps:

  2. Provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, order confirmation).

  3. We will assess the issue and determine the appropriate remedy (repair, replacement, or refund).

4. Exceptions

Certain products may not be eligible for return. This includes custom-made orders. These will be clearly identified at the time of purchase.
