256 BITS Returns Policy

Terms:

‘we’ ‘us’ our’ and ‘256 BITS’ refers to the business 256 BITS with the ABN Number 44195089052 with the website www.256bits.tech.

ACL refers to the Australian Consumer Law

1. Consumer Guarantees

Under the ACL, you are entitled to a refund, replacement, or repair if a product:

  • Is faulty, unsafe, or has a major defect.

  • Does not match the description or sample provided.

  • Fails to meet reasonable expectations of quality and performance.

A major failure occurs when:

  • The product has a significant problem that would have stopped someone from purchasing it had they known.

  • The product is unsafe.

  • The product is substantially different from its description.

  • The product does not do what we said it would.

2. Change of Mind

We do not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind. However, we may, at our discretion, offer store credit or an exchange if the item is returned in its original condition, unused, and with all packaging intact.

3. Returning a Faulty Product

If you believe your product has a defect or does not meet ACL guarantees, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our customer service team at info@256bits.tech or https://256bits.tech/contact with your order details and a description of the issue.

  2. Provide proof of purchase (e.g., receipt, order confirmation).

  3. We will assess the issue and determine the appropriate remedy (nothing, repair, replacement, or refund).

4. Timeframe for Returns

Faulty products should be reported as soon as possible. The timeframe for resolution depends on the nature of the fault and the required remedy.

5. Exceptions

Certain products may not be eligible for return due to health and safety reasons or custom-made orders. These will be clearly identified at the time of purchase.

256 BITS reserves the right to update this policy at any time as required to remain compliant with Australian Consumer Law.
